Dr. Ashraf Salama
Dr. Ashraf Salama is Professor of Architecture and Urbanism and Head of the School of Architecture and the Built Environment at Northumbria University, UK. An internationally recognised scholar and educator, he has authored and edited 17 books, published over 200 research outputs, and secured more than £2 million in research funding. He is Co-Director of the UNESCO/UIA Validation Council for Architectural Education and recipient of the UIA 2017 Jean Tschumi Prize.

Dr. Ram Avtar
Associate Professor at the Faculty of Environmental Earth Science, Hokkaido University, Japan
Dr. Ram Avtar is Associate Professor at Hokkaido University, Japan, and Director of the Global Land Programme (GLP) Japan Nodal Office. His research focuses on geospatial technologies, remote sensing, UAVs, and machine learning for monitoring terrestrial ecosystems, climate change, and sustainable land systems. A former Research Fellow at UNU-IAS, he has published over 150 peer-reviewed papers and contributed as a Lead Author to IPBES. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Green Talents Award by Germany’s BMBF.

Shri Pradeep Kapoor
National President, ITPI
A former Additional Chief Town Planner, Government of Rajasthan, he has had a distinguished career in town and country planning and has served as Secretary General of ITPI on multiple occasions. An alumnus of IIT Kharagpur, he has also played a significant role in strengthening the Rajasthan Regional Chapter of ITPI and has been instrumental in organising major national planning events.

Prof. Rachna Khare
Prof., SPA Bhopal
Prof. Rachna Khare is Professor and Dean (Research and Faculty Affairs) at the School of Planning and Architecture Bhopal. A leading researcher in Universal and Inclusive Design, she has received prestigious honours including the Fulbright Fellowship and the ‘Inspired Teacher’ recognition from the President of India. Her work focuses on designing inclusive environments for diverse and marginalised communities, and she has collaborated extensively with the UN and international organisations on disability and public-access issues.
